Mark Williams founded Thinkata to build production AI systems that hold up once real users depend on them. His work covers AI and LLM engineering, agent and multi-agent workflows, search and retrieval over private data, voice and text interfaces, workflow automation, and secure multi-tenant cloud platforms.

Most recently he led an enterprise AI platform from architecture through production. It turns hours of manual review into minutes for multiple enterprise clients. Routine cases run on their own, anything uncertain goes to a person instead of being guessed, and every decision can be explained and audited.

Mark builds with AI-accelerated engineering, which delivers the scope and pace of a full team without the coordination overhead. The speed comes with discipline. Every change ships with automated tests, a security review and documentation.

Before founding Thinkata, he held senior architecture roles at IBM and Hitachi Vantara. At Hitachi Vantara he architected AI-driven monitoring for multi-tenant environments and built performance models that guided executive investment decisions, including analysis that helped avoid a major storage misinvestment. At IBM he built secure monitoring and release infrastructure for federal and enterprise environments, anomaly detection on live telemetry, and deployment automation. He holds four U.S. patents and has received IBM Outstanding Technical Achievement Awards and the Hitachi Vantara Platinum Award.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Computer Information Systems from the University of North Texas and is pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at Johns Hopkins University.

He resides in Texas with his wife, Tess, where they enjoy traveling, golfing, and all things outdoors. Together, they actively support wildlife and animal rescue organizations.
